Ice melting

Since 1870, the glacier have been melting. Indeed, the glacier of Argentière and of the Mont Blanc moved back respectively of 1150m and 1400m, as well as the Alps, which -between 1850 and 1870- lost almost of third of it surface.

This melting is provoked by the global warming and the greenhouse effect. The global warming is the mainspring of the acceleration of the increase of the temperature.

This global warming islinked to the greenhouse effect. In twenty years, the temperature has been increasing six times as fast as one hundred and twenty years ago ; which proves well that the consequences of man actions on Earth can no longer be ignored. That is why I am asking you to react, to react in front of these animals which see their housing environment destroyed little by little, to react in front of polar bears, who disappear more and more. Because of this melting, the sea level is rising, numerous islands are disappearing, are being gobbled up. Because of this reheating, the populations have to move, migrate to other regions.

So Ladies and Gentlemen, I suggest you to limit your CO2 consumption, to stop using your car for useless travels, to prefer ride sharing rather than consuming pointlessly, to waste less.

I believe it is high time we learnt how to consume properly again!
