Years after years, thousands of trees are chopped down everywhere in tropical forests.

The logging companies cut down forests because it enables them to develop new arable lands, for example oil palm trees fields in Indonesia. But it has disastrous consequences on the environment; for example in the rain forest, indigenous people are driven away from the forest, and animals die because their natural habitat has been destroyed. The wood of the trees is not even used to make furniture, because logging companies use slashing and burning techniques.

We can act: STOP buying food made with oil palm: it is bad for your health and the earth.
